About James A. Mulhall, Jr.
Jim Mulhall was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut. In 1982 he graduated from The University of Connecticut. He then attended Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana, graduating in 1985. At the time of his graduation he was a member of both the Loyola Law Clinic and the Loyola Law Review.
After Law School, Jim took and passed the bar exams for both Connecticut and Louisiana. Jim remained in Louisiana, practicing insurance defense law, until 1989. In October of 1989 Jim returned home and began practicing in Naugatuck, Connecticut with Kevin Nixon. About one year later, Kevin and Jim formed the Nixon and Mulhall law firm, and they have practiced together since that time.
Through his legal career, Jim has handled cases though the various state and federal courts in both Louisiana and Connecticut. Since 1989, his practice has been devoted entirely to helping persons and families injured or killed due to the negligence of others. The majority of those cases concern automobile accidents and premises liability claims.
